empty"/nnMy apologies should I be in the wrong thread. I'm searching for some help and advice regarding how to install
a cordless speaker? Avoiding speaker cord disorder, I have acquired a 5.8 GHz cordless loudspeaker system for my surround speakers. The transmitter hooks up to the surround receiver rear loudspeaker outputs. Typically the transmitter goes into standby after a couple of minutes of not having received audio. However, my Audio-video receiver will keep emitting a hum whilst in stand by. This prevents the wireless transmitter from going into stand by. I've found that it causes the cordless receivers to be awake at the same time. That causes my surround loudspeakers to always send a sound while my AV receiver is in standby which is sort of uncomfortable. I could maybe install something that might actually cut the signal cord between the receiver and transmitter while the receiver is in standby. I'm not really very technically informed and for that reason will appreciate ideas.
